If purchasing a resale home in a community with an HOA, you should review the covenants, conditions, and restrictions as well as the bylaws which contain a variety of information. If you have questions about your rights and remedies regarding homeowner's associations or community associations, check out Chapter 16 and 18 of the Arizona Revised Statutes – Title 33 or FAQ's. Buyers should consult legal counsel if uncertain of the application of particular provisions in the CC&Rs.What about Public Reports?
Public reports are only given by the seller on new construction. If you'd prefer to review the report for the subdivision you're purchasing in, they are made available on the ADRE website. The ADRE does not verify the information in the Public Report therefore you should verify any questions you have with the appropriate resource.HOA information may change.
