So, What is PhoenixMart?
PhoenixMart is modeled after Dragon Mart an YiW. This project is said to be geared toward both wholesale and retail sales as the first multi-industry permanent sourcing and distribution center in the United States. It’s to be a one-stop shop where over 1,700 domestic and international vendors offer approximately 500,000 products and services to other business, consumers, and international buyers.

Why is it no one wants to compare rhetoric with actions? Several years ago the company that promises Phoenix Mart purchased the Outlet Mall with guarantees it would be filled by the year’s end. Never happened did it? Then last summer they promised to redo the architecture of the mall and they changed the name from the Outlet Mall to the Station to Home Center Direct. BUT it was a good story to woo investors. By the way, have you seen their website for the mall????? The ads and specials are from last summer and early fall. They don’t even bother keeping it up to date. Why have a ground-breaking ceremony? Because Elizabeth Mann, the head of Phoenix Mart, hired Steve Betts to be a figure-head CEO. However, he went from place to place talking to anyone who would listen about the building of Phoenix Mart. Well, she got rid of him, but had to have the ground-breaking ceremony to save face. Now that that is done, what’s left to talk about?
